The whole studio I run the 2ndBrain Way from, on your accounts: the Discord that runs itself and the broadcast rig that lands everywhere, wired so that going live opens the Stage, fires the post, pulls the room's chat onto the show, and drops the night's clips back into the room by morning. Handed over, then broken in front of you.
The problem, in your words
I want one place where people gather and one button that puts me in front of all of them, and I want it to keep running when I am asleep.
That sentence is two products and the wire between them. Sold apart, you would be the wire. Sold together, the wire is in the code and it is the part that makes the whole thing feel like a studio rather than a pile of tools.
What is handed over
Everything in The Room, everything in The Booth, and the seven wires between them.
The two engines are listed in full on their own pages: The Room That Runs Itself and The Booth. What is below is what only exists when both are on the same accounts.
- Live-now, instantly. The moment your stream state flips to live, a fixed template posts to your live-now channel with nobody in the loop. It is the one public post that needs no approval, because it is the one you would never want to wait on.
- The Stage opens itself. When you arm, the Stage voice channel opens with your assistant as a speaker. While live, up to three raised hands are approved to talk. When you end, it closes.
- The room's chat on the show. Your Discord live-chat channel is relayed into the merged rail alongside YouTube and TikTok, with its mark, through the same moderation gate and the same redactor. Questions get answered on air and in the thread.
- The door points home. The door card on the stream carries your room's invite for that platform, so a join from tonight's show is attributed to tonight's show.
- Spoken lines in the room. What your assistant says on air can be played into the Stage, so the people who came to Discord instead of YouTube hear the same show.
- Clips back into the room. The morning-after clips that pass the cut standard are dropped into your clips channel. A video with no sound pass or a failed check is refused at the drop, so the room never sees a silent clip.
- One feed, two surfaces. Anything you ship, a page, a replay, a win, lands on your site's feed and in the room's feed channel in the same minute, from one command.
Day one
The room is built, the rig is installed, and you go live into both.
The Discord is built from the spec while you watch. The rig goes onto your OBS and your Restream. The bot, the bridges and the overlays are pointed at your accounts.
You press the one button, go live, and watch the live-now post land, the Stage open, and the room's chat appear in the rail with everyone else's.
While you sleep
The room moves every hour. The night is cut by morning.
Welcomes, the ladder and the daily post run on their clocks. Joins are attributed to their doors. Questions get written answers in the thread.
The recording is scored, cut, captioned and checked. What passes is dropped into the clips channel. What fails is listed with the number that failed it.
Handed over, then broken in front of you
THE METHODTwo calls. On the first I build the room on your server and break it in front of you. On the second I install the rig on your machine, go live with you into your own room, and break that too: the pulled mic, the typed phone number, the song in the room.
Then one more thing only the studio can do: I end the stream and we watch the clips arrive in the room the next morning, and I show you the one that was refused and why.
You leave with everything on both pages, the wires already in place, and the recordings of both builds.
You keep: the spec, the bank, the OBS profile, the destination table, every overlay, the clip pipeline, the bot on your own developer account, and both recordings.
- You want the studio, not the parts. You would rather have one thing that runs than two things you have to connect.
- You go live weekly and you have a community, or you want one. The show feeds the room and the room fills the show.
- You are done being the wire. The joins, the posts, the clips and the chat move without you touching them.
- You only want one of the two. Buy that one; the wires are cheap to add later.
- You do not go live. The Room alone is the right buy.
- You want a rig you never have to update. Platforms change; the monthly shape exists because they do.

What accounts and permissions does the whole thing need?
On Discord: a bot on your developer account with Administrator and the Message Content and Server Members intents switched on. For the broadcast: your Restream account, OBS 28 or newer on Windows, a YouTube Data API key, TikTok LIVE access if you stream there, and your Facebook profile or Page if you stream there. Every one of those is yours and stays yours.
Which chats end up on screen?
YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and Discord, through the bridges. Facebook, LinkedIn and X go out through Restream but do not expose readable live comments, so they are not in the rail automatically.
What happens if a platform changes something and a bridge breaks?
On the one-time shape, you reply to my email and we fix it together; the code is yours. On the monthly shape, it is my job and I find out before you do.
Can it post something I have not seen?
Public posts to your room need an approval attached, with one exception: the live-now post, which is a fixed template you read once. The daily post comes from a bank you wrote. Replies come from a brief you authored. On air, the redactor masks what must not leak.
Does any of my audio or video leave my machine for processing?
No. Transcription for captions runs locally. The recording stays on your disk. The only thing that leaves is the stream itself, to the platforms you toggled.
What is not included?
Platform fees, boosts, hardware, art, and anything that requires a room light or a voice in the room, which is my house and not a product. The room lighting and the spoken house voice you may have seen on my streams are wired to my own hardware and are not part of this.
